Biography
Born Kamenetz-Podolski, Poland (now Ukraine), 1929 1947-51 studied piano and music theory at the Czernowitz College of Music, Ukraine 1947-52 studied and graduated from the Czernowitz Medical School (D.M.) 1952-54 served as Hospital Physician in Lvov, Ukraine 1952-55 studied composition (M.A.) at the Lvov Academy of Music with Prof. R. Simovich 1955-58 studied composition and music theory at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Moscow with Prof. S.
