| Ordering Information |
Our catalogues allow you several options for ordering items. We offer items for sale by postal delivery (scores and performing parts, books, CDs) and for downloading (scores and performing parts in PDF format, digital recordings in MP3 format). Please note that you cannot combine, within one order, items for postal delivery and items for downloading. If you wish to download MP3 recordings and/or performing materials in PDF formats, and also to order CDs and/or scores and/or books for postal delivery, you will need to create two separate shopping baskets (one for downloading, one for postal delivery), and pay for each basket separately.
By clicking on 'Buy now on-line from our Catalogues', you can access four catalogues. When searching the "Performing Materials" catalogue, you can generate lists of works according to instrumentation, composer & duration, or specific search words. From the lists generated by these searches, you can listen, free of charge, to a 2-3 minutes demo of selected works from the list, by clicking the icon . You can also view/download, free of charge, a first page demo of the score in PDF format .
From the next page (after you clicked on 'order now' and ticked the appropriate boxes), you can perform the following transactions:
- You can download, against payment, selected works in MP3 format.
- You can order a CD including the work, to be delivered by mail.
- You can download (and print on your home printer), against payment, a selection of works (scores and parts) in PDF format.
- You can purchase hard copies of materials related to the work (score[s], parts, piano reductions, vocal scores, libretti, tapes, etc.), to be delivered by mail. You can also order orchestral materials, which are available on hire, by e-mail, and purchase choral materials.
There are two kinds of publications in the catalogue. Works marked with IMI catalogue numbers (items placed against a white background) are IMI publications; most of them have been properly copied, edited and proofread by IMI editors. Works marked with IMIC catalogue numbers (items placed against a blue background) are materials prepared by the composers, and they alone are responsible for their accuracy.
A separate catalogue lists the Israel Music Information Centre (IMIC) Library holdings, also placed against a blue background, and marked with catalogue numbers beginning with IMIC-L. Some of the works in this catalogue were published by other publishers (indicated); others are manuscript photocopies or unpublished prints. Some of the works in this catalogue are available, against payment, in photocopies. All of them are open for public perusal at the Library.
You can also purchase CDs and Books, to be delivered by mail, from separate lists.
Payment can be effected by credit card. Payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and IsraCard are accepted.
Orders will be executed by air mail upon receipt of confirmation of payment by your credit card, which usually takes 3 business days.
To order our publications you may also contact our representative in your region (see our list of representatives abroad), or send your request to us by e-mail, fax or ordinary mail. In either case, you will be billed by our representative according to his price list. CDs, however, can only be ordered from our Tel Aviv office.
Prices do not include p&p. On receipt of your order, a charge of $3 per item, and up to $15 on order of five or more items, will be added automatically.
