Adam Halabi
Born in Majdal Shams, Golan Heights, Adam Halabi discovered his love for music and art from a young age. His parents, artists, were former students at Damascus University. Adam was lucky enough to be with them on their journey through Syria as a child. As a result, they instilled in him a passion for learning and knowledge, in a world full of art, music, and creativity.
Upon his return from Syria, he was accepted to study at Tel Hai Academic College in a program for gifted and talented students. Towards the end of his studies at Tel Hai, he won first place for his research paper “On the Secret of the Pleasure of Creativity and Encrypted Messages in Leonardo da Vinci’s Painting of the Last Supper.”
In parallel with his studies at Tel Hai College, he studied music in the village of Majdal Shams, with his first piano teacher, Alexander Briner. He then moved to the “Clore Center for the Performing Arts” in Kfar Blum, and he studied piano under the guidance of teacher Hayuta Bat-Ari and successfully took the matriculation exam in classical piano. During his studies at Clore, he developed his abilities to play chamber music in groups, compose music, and accompany musicians and singers on the piano.
In 2019, he studied at Rimon, a music school in Ramat Hasharon, in the composition and conducting track under the guidance of Yaron Gottfried. He is currently continuing his studies at Tel Aviv University, at the Buchman-Mehta School of Music, under the guidance of composer Hadas peery.
