Daniel Ayali

Daniel Ayali is a composer, producer, guitarist, and pianist, born and raised in the village of Klil in the Galilee.

He is a graduate of the music program at Manor Kabri High School (2008-2010). He was part of the first cohort of the Internal Compass School of Music in Mitzpe Ramon (2016-2019). He studied in the Multidisciplinary Composition program at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (2022-2024), where he was a student of composer Prof. Josef Bardanashvili. In 2023, he participated in the Eramus exchange program at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.

Ayali has composed for theater, dance, and film, including theater productions presented at the Nalaga’at Theater and the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio. A dance work presented as part of the Jerusalem International Solo Dance Festival. An original soundtrack for a documentary film screened at the Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival. An Original choral work composed as part of the “Ani Kol” project. In addition, he is a member of “The Nocturnes”, a classical guitar duo performing original music. Alongside this, he leads personal projects that include songs from the field of popular music, as well as artistic and classical instrumental works.

Ayali is the First Prize winner of the Mark Kopytman Composition Competition (2023).
