
Neta Alony
Netta Aloni (b.1945) is a composer and psychoanalyst who lives in Jerusalem. He studied theory and composition for about five years with Andre Hajdu. In addition, he studied with Reuven Seroussi and also at Bar- Ilan University for two years under Gideon Levinson and Betty Olivero.
His five published C.D.’s are: ”Moments With Myself” (1996), “Five Vocal Pieces” (2000), ”Breathless” (2007), “The Empty Rooms” (double disc. 2012) and the recently published “The Day After” (double disc. 2017).
Some of his works have been recorded by the Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) and performed on the “Voice of Music” radio programme and in various concerts. His work “I Have Told Myself Completely” for voice and instrumental ensemble represented the IBA at the international Composers’ Rostrum.
In 2013 he won the Israeli Prime Minister’s Prize for composers.
