Saar Raifen

Saar Raifen (born 1995), based in Jerusalem, is an Israeli flutist, composer, and music educator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (JAMD), where he studied composition under the guidance of the composers Josef Bardanashvili, Talia Amar, and Yair Klartag. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in composition for Media at JAMD.  His compositions have been performed at various festivals throughout Israel, including multiple editions of the ‘Ani Kol’ Festival in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In addition to his work Saar is active in vocal performance and is a member of the Jerusalem Chamber Choir
