About the creation
The score is divided in three registers (high, middle, low). On the upper left-hand side of the score, there are signs for a group of tones producing a harmonic progression. In each register there are short and long harmonies, short and long melodies, interrupted by a triangle, with short ascending ornamental progressions indicated by an arrow, followed by circles with the same kind of articulations (can be played on the keyboard or on the strings). Simultaneously through short individual sounds small chromatic and harmonic clusters are developed into two groups in an ascending manner. In the middle register, there is once more, a circle with the same effects as in the high register, which can be played on the keyboard or on the strings. The difference is that the performer can choose to strong dynamic can be used as wished. Afterwards descending glissandi from the high and the middle ranges can develop freely. Different clusters in any drection can be played in any register. All this progression can be interrupted by figures that the performer plays as quickly as possible in a pianissimo and soft way. In the lower register different kinds of sounds are to be played in order to imply a total freedom of performance. In the lower part of the graphic there is a circle, which means that the performer should play inside the instrument by using any kind of sticks and or including his hands. In the lowest register, different figures are to be repeated, followed by other figures that should be performed as quickly as possible in a pianissimo, soft and longer way. The same applies to an ornamental cluster which develops towards a bigger cluster that would be interrupted at the end by a very short diatonic cluster. In this piece the performer can use percussive effects on the body of the instruments, if necessary. That is why a group of rhombuses appears in the middle of the score which is meant to be played on the keys of the instruments. The piece ends iwith two very short clusters. The duration is undefined.
