"Hommage a SCHoEnBerG" was composed in spring 1974 to commemorate the Master's hundredth anniversary.
The piece is based on a series of six notes selected from the name in German nomenclature: eS (E flat) - C - H (B) - E - B (B flat) - G mainly permitting horizontally or vertically.
It was first performed in Israel in 1974 by the Israeli pianist Vera Langyel.
