About the creation
Metamorphoses for piano were written in 1979 and were first performed at Kibbutz Nir Daviv in Emek Beit Sheán, in march 1980. A month later it was premiered in Europe in Freiburg, West Germany. On both occasions the artist was the Israeli pianist Varda Nishry.
