About the creation

The composition Out to Infinity, for solo harp, was written in January 2008' during a month-long stay in Queensland, Australia. Imagine yourselves arriving in a place which is very distant from your usual place – a beautiful place, like a gateway to the Garden of Eden. Time stands still in this place, and you feel as if in a dream. And yet, you also feel disconnected, somewhat afraid and filled with longing. Thoughts and imaginings in such an isolated and quiet place are infinite.
