About the creation
Upon finishing the song cycle Adam Roeh I realized that the material carried me into a high energy road with lack of slow motion areas. To compensate, I decided to build a short, slow-moving piece – Yizkor, Elegy For Strings that will be using the same harmonic structures of those used in the song cycle, the same 12X12 arrays and their K-subsets.
